We were challenged during the video lesson on coloring bunnies, to color one of them with chalks. After lots of practice with colored pencils, I colored this one with chalks. I used the pointed cotton swabs (look in make-up section of store) and my Pebbles chalks. I use my electric eraser to lighten some areas and clean up when I go over lines. I then spray with workable fixative (art supplies) to keep chalk from smearing.
I cut the image with oval Nestabilaties and mounted on base card, with layering.
Don't forget to tune in tomorrow (March 5) at 7 AM (PST) for the Bunny Hop.
Velda, I'm so jealous that you have the time to practice your shading right now and I don't. That chalked bunny looks awesome and I absolutely LOVE the finished project. Way to go!
