As some of you know, I have problems making love cards and making cards with patterned paper. Here's an attempt at combining the two.
I'm really not pleased with any of these, so I think it's time to do something else. Besides, I need to get my cards mailed to Operation Write Home.
Velda, I like the one with the sentiment right on top of the ribbon and the band of printed paper against the solid embossed is a good way to add some pattern without feeling overwhelmed by it.
