OWH Midweek Throwdown - tags & twine

I've been trying for several days to make a card for the Midweek Throwdown on the Stars & Stamps blog.  This totally out of my comfort zone, but I gave it an attempt.
This paper is from K&Co. from the Marines pad.  When I embossed it with the stars, the paper began to tear, so I mounted it on kraft cardstock for stablilization.  The tag is a Spellbinders die.

    Great card! I love your idea to mount the paper to "thicken" it up for embossing. Thanks for playing along!
