I've been trying to create cards for the Virtual Card Making Party, but I've skipped a few. In challenge #9, Shannon challenged us to make a card using neglected tools. I used a couple of them here. I used a very old silhouette punch by All Night Media. I also used a deckle rotary blade for cutting the edges. I never could cut straight with the deckle scissors, so I bought a rotary blade for my Carl trimmer.
I also embossed the gold paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder that hasn't been used for a couple of years. The sentiment is a sticker that was gold, but I colored it red with a Sharpie before putting it on the card.
I love how you used the negative space on the trees!! TFS
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with our neglected craft tool challenge! I love the look of those edges. I also love that embossing. I need to do that more often!
