Difficult times

Difficult times have overwhelmed me recently.  However, I felt the need to create a card for others at the center of these difficult times.  This card was made for the family directly affected by a family suicide.
This card began with an embossing folder to create the sentiment area.  I then watercolored the outside and inside of the embossed shape.  I stamped the sentiment inside the shape with Versamark ink and added colored embossing powder.  I then found cardstock to go with the watercolored area and framed the center layer on a 5X7 card base.  I added the punched butterfly later.  The message inside says:  I wish I could give you a hug that would last forever.

  1. The card is lovely; I'm so sorry that the need was there to make such a card. It's always comforting to receive a paper hug; it continues to be there long after the physical one.
