Analogous colors

I'm still attempting to make cards according to the color harmonies that Paula describes in the ABC's of Color Basics.

With this card, I'm attempting an analogous color harmony.  This one was very difficult for me and I'm still not convinced that I got it right.  What do you think?
The ink on the flower stem and leaves looked more like the ribbon in my craft room.  In the scan, they look quite different.

  1. This is a pretty card Velda. I like how the embossing folder mimics the flower petals. As colors go it's hard to say with total certainty because both monitors and scanners do tend to cause colors shifts. On my monitor it looks like the ribbon would fall into the "yellow-green" slice of the wheel, and the background looks like a "yellow". The peach shade looks like it would fall into either the red-orange or orange slice of the wheel but if it's more of a "yellow-orange" in person than yes... it is analogous because Yellow-Green, Yellow and Yellow-Orange are three colors that are directly next to (touching) each other on the color wheel.
