Try a new technique


Our challenge this week on the Stars & Stamps blog is to try a new technique.    There was a tutorial in the same blog on April 5, 2011 and making a pinwheel card.  I never got around to trying it, so here's my first attempt.  I just used some leftover scraps and it turned out pretty good and patriotic.  I added the God Bless America sentiment and put miss you in the center of pinwheel.

Come back tomorrow morning for the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Bloghop.  All cards will be missing you cards.

    Velda, this card came out beautifully. I love the combination of checks and stripes and the way you added the God Bless America sentiment is just great... both the die-cut shape and the ribbon. Wonderful job!
