Challenge #3 in the OWH Virtual Card Making Party is to make a card using Selective Embossing.
This one turned out to be easier than I expected. A few months ago, I bought the Tim Holtz set of embossing diffusers. These are made of acrylic instead of having to cut my own. I had never made them work until today.
The butterfly is cut and embossed with a very old set from Cuttlebug. The die and embossing folder are separate pieces. The sentiment is an old rubber stamp from the Stamp Doctor.
Lovely card! That swirly background is perfect with the butterfly. Thanks for joining in the challenge.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card Velda! I had no idea that there were Tim Holtz embossing diffusers and while I like this effect I had a hard time with it. I may have to consider adding those to mu wish list. :)
