I recently saw this Memory Box die online and wanted to try it out, having never used that brand of die. Today was the day to try it out. It cuts beautifully, so I needed find a way to use it on my cards. I decided on this dragonfly paper from Basic Grey.
I had problems finding other things to go on the card. I had some fuzzy yarn that someone sent to me. I wrapped it around the card, but was afraid it wouldn't last through mailing, so I had to find a way to secure it. I also had this wide, sheer ribbon that went with the paper. I covered the yarn with the ribbon. It really looks better in person than it does in the scan. I needed more to make this card acceptable, so I added some gold metallic stickers. I'm still deciding if I like it.
I like this card better. I used the leftover strip of dragonfly paper on another piece of paper from the same 6"x6" pad from Basic Grey. I then covered the dragonfly paper with the sheer ribbon. I added more gold metallic stickers.
These are great ... so serene and etheral looking. Great job!
