Birthday Wishes

I had 2 more female relatives with birthdays in March and wanted to make them of the same alcohol ink background.  It's okay since they don't know each other and live in different states.  These pieces of yupo paper are 5" X 7", so I cut it in half.  This made them a little narrow for my cards, so I added a frame to fill up the page.  I made the lacy borders on the gold layer with a border die by Sue Wilson.  These layers are mounted on a white card base.  The sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp.

More alcohol ink play

I tried another more pastel version of the alcohol ink backgrounds on Yupo paper.  This time I use some of pearl alcohol inks with the alcohol and blower bulb.  I also used some of the sterling alloy.

I used a portion of the background as the sky in this card.  The border is actually silver, but doesn't look like it in the photo.

The tree die is from Memory Box and I think the sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp.  The green paper is a pearlescent cardstock that I bought at Wal Mart.

This branch die with the butterflies is by Memory Box and the sentiment die is from Poppystamps.  The little spots on this background is from lightly spraying the background with alcohol.  The frame is gold and the card base is white.
