Playing with dies

 I have been away from the craft room for a while, caring for an old sick dog and then getting sick myself.  As I started feeling better, I started planning a technique for using some of the dies I had recently purchased.  I created some watercolor backgrounds, then cut wildflowers from the results.

The next step will be to try to use these die cut flowers on some cards.  Watch for some results when I get ambitious again.

Shadow box butterfly birthday

I made this card for my adult granddaughter.  This is a shadow box card (or tunnel shadowbox).  I used 2 different dies to cut oval opening for the shadow box inside.  The background is made with alcohol inks.  I cut some extra butterflies to put inside the shadow box.
